The Mandarin Community Club is the perfect location for your next event whether it's a wedding, party, or a neighborhood meeting. A charming historic exterior with updated and well-maintained interior, the Mandarin Community Club is available for rent year round. Located in the heart of historic Mandarin near the St. Johns River, the Club building was once the Mandarin School founded by author, Harriet Beecher Stowe (Uncle Tom's Cabin) in 1872 and listed with the National Register of Historic Places. During World War I, citizens of Mandarin formed the Liberty League (group founded the Mandarin Community Club in 1923 with Walter Jones as their first president) met regularly at the Mandarin School to work on initiatives to support our allies and troops. In 1936, the building was purchased by Edwin & Carr Mina Jones and presented as a gift to the Mandarin Community Club.
