50th Birthday Party - An Eventective User

I celebrated my 50th birthday at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Irvine, California. My event coordinator was Noel. She is AMAZING! From the planning to the end, she was always there to answer questions, fulfill requests, and most of all assure me she would be there to make sure everything is perfect. She was right. My family and guests loved the atmosphere, food, service, and cleanliness of the hotel. I will definitely recommend DoubleTree to family and friends. I look forward to working with Noel for future events!

We had our wedding at Doubletree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum on November 18, 2023 and worked directly with Noel Vasin. All the hotel staff are friendly and professional but I can’t express how much we are happy with Noel. She is so professional, friendly, kind and responsive. She was always welcoming and patient with my last minute questions and changes and responded to all my emails and calls very quickly. The hotel venue price is very reasonable for the area. We catered food from outside but we did open bar with the hotel and we are happy with the quality of drinks. The hotel rooms are also clean and we always enjoyed the little treat like the hot cookies. Definitely recommend!

Our company was to have a holiday party in December, and we came across the DoubleTree Hilton Irvine Spectrum. Shortly after, Noel reached out and was eager to help. She was highly attentive, quick to respond and made the entire process so seamless. She even stopped by, so we had the opportunity to meet face-to-face! Unfortunately, we were unable to host our event here due to a schedule change, however I will be keeping them in mind for all future events because of Noel.

I inspected three other hotels to finally choose DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum for our family even of Celebration of Life for 73 people. Noel Vasin, the Event Manager at this hotel was the main reason I decided on this hotel. From the very first moment, she greeted me with warm and caring eyes, and very fresh and delicious cookies, in a bag as a gift. She provided me with excellent service from the very first moment. She even came in on her day off to make sure everything goes well with our even. Then venue is very clean and ALL the staff were very professional and caring. My out of town guests who stayed at the hotel all gave me excellent reviews about their stay at the hotel, their rooms, the service they got from all the staff, the hotel facilities, etc. I highly recommend this hotel for all your events, as well as for staying for business or family events or pleasure. They have a free shuttle to the Orange County Airport, as well as to Irvine Spectrum shopping mall. I recommend this hotel to all my family and friends coming to visit us. This was the perfect venue for our high school cheer banquet. The staff were professional and attentive. Noel made sure everything was ready for our arrival. This venue would also be perfect for small weddings or corporate events. The ballroom space and tables can be customized for your event.

Affordable, classy intimate event - An Eventective User from Irvine, MA

We held a memorial/celebration of life event in their Ballroom, Vintage A room, about 1/3 of the ballroom partitioned off for us. We were very impressed with their pricing, flexibility of packages (able to accommodate our small group of 20, up to about 35), and the service provided to us. I had checked out private restaurant rooms and other event space, but came back to Doubletree Irvine. Food was great, especially the salmon, we had a buffet that more than fed our guests. We were able to easily add on what we wanted, and ask for things like sauce on the side for allergies. We had no trouble with A/V equipment, a big reason why I chose them. They had a drop down screen and projector. You do have to bring your own laptop to connect to. Sound system was separate and had a handy toggle to adjust volume quickly and easily. They provided easels (we used 5), 6 foot memorial table, tissues, and cleanup of flowers were weren't able to take. The ballroom itself was more of a traditional vibe, classical, and warm toned. The carpeting is a focus with red/purple focus. We worked with the theme and it turned out beautifully. We were able to arrive early to set up and receive flowers. Parking was no problem onsite and with pre-paid validation. Location wise they are near highway which was convenient. I'm so happy we found this venue and the event coordinator Noel Vasin was so helpful! Communication was great, and we were accommodated in all ways. We would definitely host another family event there!

Had a blast for my Gatsby themed 50th bday bash on Dec 2022 all because of Noel who was very professional and on point with the coordination and communication. The food was delicious esp the appetizers my guests raved about it. Decors,stage and tables were what I envisioned.Highly recommended! The best part, Noel throws in one of the best chocolate chip cookies during our meetings


The perfect location and price point for our Program! The staff is amazing and super helpful with questions we had while planning as well as the night of our event. The food was awesome and we can't complain about the best cookies ever as our dessert. The was our 2nd year having our event here and we can't wait for next year!

The team did a great job in accommodating our needs and our budget, and went above and beyond with event decoration, setup, and food and drinks. We had about a hundred people in attendance, and they all remarked how special of an experience it was. I'll give a shoutout to Noel for working with us throughout the leadup and during the event, being very responsive to our requests, and making this event feel special. She was great to work with! I will highly recommend this hotel, especially with its proximity to the Irvine Spectrum mall, as well as being a convenient 10-15 minutes from notable local attractions, such as John Wayne Airport, Disneyland and Laguna Beach. We had a college banquet for UCI Women's Soccer with about 100 people, the event went off flawlessly! Noel Vasin was so responsive to me throughout the planning of the event and was at the event helping me with last minute changes and request! Hotel rooms are all very quiet and beds are extremely comfortable. Happy Hour menu served very healthy choices with very reasonable prices. Location of the hotel is perfect, as the shuttle takes you straight to the Irvine Spectrum mall for a huge selection of entertainment, restaurants and amazing shops! We held the rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and next day brunch all here at this hotel and each event went by so smoothly. The staff was perfect and amazing! Event planners, event staff, waiters, and front desk administrators were all so amazing and perfect! We recently had our brother’s Celebration of Life here at the Doubletree Irvine Spectrum. Noel (the Sales Catering Manager) was so kind, supportive, and helpful from the first meeting. She helped us create a beautiful event for my brother from the food, to the beautiful set up in the banquet room, to setting us up with Romero a wonderful Banquet Room Manager that assisted us throughout the entire event. Great Venue! - An Eventective User

We are a non profit and we held our annual Gala at this venue. Everything was great! From the event planning staff to the actual event staff the night of the event. Everything looked great and the guests really enjoyed the night. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event there. I want to give a special thank you to Sabrina, the sales manager. She went above and beyond to make this event a success for us and didn't miss even the smallest details.
