Harris Art Academy – Venue Rental Terms & Conditions To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following terms apply to all venue rentals: 1. Reservations & Payment A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at booking to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event. Dates are first-come, first-served and cannot be guaranteed without a deposit. 2. Event Time Rentals are based on 2-hour blocks (additional time available at an hourly rate). Setup and cleanup must be completed within your rental time. 3. Capacity & Use of Space Maximum capacity: [insert number based on fire code/space]. The studio is to be used for art parties, workshops, and private celebrations only. No hazardous materials, glitter, or outside paint are allowed. 4. Food & Beverages Light food and beverages are permitted (no alcohol unless pre-approved). Renter is responsible for cleanup of all food/drink items. 5. Decorations Only painter’s tape may be used for hanging decorations. No confetti, rice, or open flames are permitted. 6. Cancellations Cancellations made more than 14 days prior may reschedule at no extra cost. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit. 7. Liability Harris Art Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. The renter is responsible for the behavior and safety of all guests. 8. Compliance Failure to comply with these terms may result in additional fees or termination of the rental without refund.
