About Virginia Wedding Ministers and Officiants Association

Since 1983, our ministers have performed the majority of the marriage ceremonies in the Commonwealth of Virginia because we perform ceremonies Seven Days a Week by Zoom or Phone (our choice) for $100. We perform non- religious, semi -religious, and Christian ceremonies. Effective July 1, 2024, persons under 18 can no longer get married in Virginia under any circumstances. Call me to discuss the DC option which is the best option! If you want a friend or family member to perform your marriage ceremony, call us at least 2 months prior to discuss your situation and process. There is a lot of misinformation being given and we will give you the facts!

Help with Underage Marriage - An Eventective User from Alexandra, Virginia

Thanks Rev. Byron for helping with where my daughter can be married next month and who can marry her since Virginia is no longer an option since she is only 17 and wants to go with her 21 yr old military fiancee.

Saving the day for my daughter and her fiance - An Eventective User from Henrico, Virginia

Thanks to Rev. Byron for telling us what state the kids can get married in. We talked to several neighboring states and it has become much more difficult than it used to be. DC is the best option so give Rev. Byron a call and he will discuss the entire process Carol Burbages

Wonderful Officiant - An Eventective User from Alexandria, Virginia

My fiancee and I only wanted a quick, simple civil ceremony. After not receiving any calls from the celebrants recommended by the Alexandria courthouse, we called Northern Virginia Civil Ceremonies. They called us back within the hour, provided a choice of ceremonies, and even provided a choice of ceremony music, and they charged us the same as the celebrants who never returned our phone calls! We enthusiastically encourage you to go with Northern Virginia Civil Ceremonies because of their flexible schedule of weeknights, weekends, and holidays! Sincerely, Bob and Jane Smith
