By our Henrico, VA civil celebrants, justice of the peace alternative, religious celebrants, and others, Seven days a week all civil ceremonies and Elopements are scheduled and performed at Lake Hening, Police Memorial, Courtyard Fountain, Wedding Platform, or rain/snow venue for $100 with all guests welcome at no additional charge. A non-refundable $100 consultation fee may be charged for weddings at our venues, and additional fees. There is no venue fee, but there is a fee at Maymont Park and Polegreen Church. Remember, we schedule and perform all the Civil Ceremonies for Henrico and Richmond Couples' for $100 at the Henrico Courthouse Wedding Venues (not in the Courthouse) or at your location for the fees listed below. Don't talk to the courthouses about your ceremony since we perform the ceremonies, not the courthouses. Henrico Circuit Court recommends Rev. Byron Sichert to perform civil ceremonies. Witnesses are not required! You must bring with you a valid marriage license from a Virginia Circuit Court. $100 is the fee for all Government Center Weddings. Be aware that another officiant wrongly claims to be Lake Hening Weddings and she charges more than the standard $100 which all of our approved officiants charge. She is given a poor review. Henrico County does not allow marriages in Courthouse Offices or Officiants homes. For your home, venue, or Church weddings, we perform it remotely by ZOOM)/phone , which is approved by the Virginia Attorney General (we have the approval memo) and the fee is $100. We don't schedule weddings for other officiants, and the multiple wedding venues can't be reserved! All ceremonies must be scheduled! In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies will be moved across the street to the covered courtyard (still outside). If the officiant is in person, your officiant can take pictures with your phone/camera. All ceremonies are performed in English. We are not affiliated with Henrico County or Henrico County Circuit Court. All indoor ceremonies are performed at the location of the marital couple. All scheduling and performing of ceremonies are done by VA/MD/DC Wedding Ministers! If we perform a ceremony in person at your Virginia location, the fee ranges from $200-$600.
