The Mélange Inn is one of Western North Carolinas most beautiful & historic Southern Mansions. Originally a private residence, the home changed hands 3 times before its 4th owners turned it into a well known bed & breakfast. The current & 5th owners have taken the Inn to it's next level by offering it as a retreat center & private home booking. Sleeping 18 guests comfortably; the mansion is an ideal setting for a family gathering, wedding guest accommodations, corporate gathering, group travel or any other experience where one location is preferred. (Great for meetings or socializing) Dining area that seats 24 1 acre of outside space with multiple gardens & fountains Office/designated workspace w/fireplace Safe onsite parking Micro weddings of up to 18 allowed with no additional fee Multiple photo areas throughout the home & grounds Very private location close to Main St. RATES & RULES $1,700 per night, 2 night minimum $400 cleaning fee $1,000 refundable security deposit (Pets not permitted. For events larger than 18 there will be an additional fee. Innkeepers live on site but do not interact with guests unless needed. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only. Events are permitted upon request and with an additional event fee which will depend on the size of the group. House guest ONLY weddings are ok with a regular booking & 2 night stay but must be noted before booking. Small children are allowed however we ask that you be mindful of the stairs and dirty handprints on the walls and furniture. Absolutely no pets & no exceptions. Fires are allowed in the downstairs fireplace only. Candles and any other open flames are not permitted on the property. Quiet time is 9pm. Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
