A cultural artisan and practitioner, Kahu Makale‘a offers ceremonies based upon traditional Hawaiian practices. Rooted in Hawaiian protocols and values, the ceremony commences with the blowing of the pu ‘ohe and chanting of an ‘oli for wisdom and protection and ends with a final ‘oli to bless the couple. Other aspects of Hawaiian insight and tradition can be incorporated to fit the desires of the couple throughout the ceremony. Spiritual rather than religious, couples of all religions and sexual orientation are welcomed with graceful aloha.
