Oh, Oh, Oh! What a dynamic venue! But, more dynamic, was the incredible staff. Everything I asked for, I received, and more, more, more. You will not be disappointed booking at this venue.
The green-gabled house of the Washington Grass Inn was SO perfect for me because I LOVED the "Anne of Green Gables" books as a little girl. The house was built in the mid-19th Century we were told. The staff here was SO accomodating! Ours was a very modest wedding with only abou 20 guests but every detail was perfect. We got married in their "Tree Circle" outside on a gloriously beautiful day, then had a small reception with drinks and canapes afterwards, also outdoors. A cellist played at our wedding and reception (someone we'd hired). The rooms we were given to get dressed in were charming. The cost was well within our budget. Most importantly of all, my husband's bossy, fussy old great-aunt approved of everything and she is HARD to please!!
