The Kruse Event Center was established in 1996 by Bill & (the late) Connie Kruse. Bill's idea was to provide Gibson City & surrounding communities with a reasonably priced venue that could be used for many different Events.
In 2021 we updated the interior with a new neutral color theme, replaced wall lights, and put down new flooring in the restrooms, kitchen, and bar.
We provide the location for your Event while giving you the freedom of decorating the space to fit YOUR vision. We have had everything from farmhouse to glam and Disney to Batman themes. Our venue is a blank canvas waiting for you to transform it.
Included with your Rental Fee is the venue (times as specified in the contract), bar service - cash, tab, and open bar options available w/ bartender, chairs (cushioned banquet style chairs), and tables (approx 40 - 8 ft rectangular - seats 8-10 & 34 - 5 ft round - seats 6-8).
At conclusion of your Event, the bartender(s) clean up tables (food & drink only) & take out trash. Then our cleaning staff handles table & chair teardown & routine cleaning.
