Our location allows guests to enjoy the tranquility and splendor of the redwood forests while being a short drive from the unique beaches, restaurants and shops that Santa Cruz offers. Our property makes it easy for brides to have many of their weddings needs accommodated in one place. We have 15 cabins of varying sizes which will allow your close friends and family a home away from home and a launch location to help host your wedding event. A sun strewn manicured meadow lined with lilacs, lilies, pear trees, wild strawberries and flanked with ivy, bay trees and redwoods will provide the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and reception site. Our custom hand milled and built redwood gazebo provides a rustic while elegant centerpiece to state your vows under. Our new river overlook area can host any part of your event and compliments our gazebo garden. To complete the atmosphere, we provide redwood and banquet tables for your reception that match the gazebo. Included in the site rental fee is exclusive use of the Gazebo Garden and River Overlook area along with chairs for the ceremony and reception, dining tables, cake / appetizer tent, LED uplighting, cafe lighting and use of our professional sound system. If a bride's guests rent out all the cabins she will have exclusive use of the entire grounds and the ability to run the reception party to 10:00 PM. Other amenities at Fern River include our private river beach, community campfire ring, ping pong table, badminton court, and others.
