Stark Caverns provides 2 unique conference room or event spaces for your consideration. We are a tourist cave in the Lake of the Ozarks area - just 7 miles east of Bagnell Dam, 1 mile off Highway 54. Our primary business is as a tourist destination, and we now have two amazing spaces ready to support many of your upcoming conference or event needs. The first space is in the second story of our brand new Visitor's Center and the second is in the cave itself, on a unique paved patio area that served as a ballroom in the early 1900s. We can support groups from 25 to 120 in the cave and from 10 to 50 in the VIsitor Center. In addition we have gemstone mining available for an extra cost. We are able to provide hot and cold beverage services, box lunches, a lap top, projector and screen for presentations, and offer a rental discount when you have at least 10 people in your group take a tour of the cave (at our already discounted Group Rate). This is a unique opportunity for groups looking for an unusual and beautiful meeting or event setting.
\We offer hot and cold beverage service, a ceiling-mounted projector and screen, and a laptop for flash drive use. Box lunch arrangements can also be made. Renters receive a discounted rate if at least 10 participants (over the age of 5) take an hour-long cave tour -- the Lake Area's highest rated cave tour according to Facebook, Google and TripAdvisor. It's a fascinating trip through geologic and human times. You'll learn about the cave's uses by Native Americans, early settlers, civil war guerrillas, moonshiners and more.

This unique conference and event space is actually located inside of Stark Caverns. We have re-created the "ballroom" floor used in the early 1900's with a paved patio surface complete with accent lighting and power outlets. The space is perfect for weddings, speaking events, prayer services, yoga classes or other events where a spectacular and unique background are desired. Most of the year, you can hear water flowing and dripping near the patio area creating an amazing sound experience. The acoustics are incredible as well (and showcased in our annual Carols in the Cavern event). Much of the cave has a constant temperature of 57 degrees, but the Patio Area is close enough to the cave entrance to be impacted by outdoor temperatures. Winter events may be held, but participants need to dress warmly as the temperature is only 20 degrees or so warmer than outside. You can see our tallest set of formations, Onyx Falls, from the Cave Patio area. This area is not available for rental during peak tourist season - Memorial Day through Labor Day, except for after 6 pm on week days and Sunday. No outside food is allowed in the cave and only limited food provided by Stark Caverns. We must be diligent to keep the cave environment natural. Food waste would change the delicate ecosystem.
A deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee (room and equipment) plus $100, is due at the time of booking. The $100 portion will be credited back to you following the event if we have determined that no damage was done to the cave or Stark Caverns property. Additional pricing details and terms are in the attachment below. There is a two-hour minimum rental period for this space. The projector and projector screen are available for use in this location.

This conference room is located in the second story of our brand new Visitor Center. It's a beautiful room with wood floors and large windows overlooking the natural beauty of our grounds and pond. There is a 4' wide staircase leading directly up to the room from our back door and a separate restroom upstairs. There are additional restrooms downstairs. This area also serves as our museum featuring display cases filled with Native American and cave artifacts as well as historical photos.
The Visitor Center Conference room is about 1200 square feet while the In-Cave space is about 1500 square feet. We can provide beverages, box lunches, a projector and screen, and tables and chairs for your event. Details are in the attachment.
