BlueSky Barn is 15 minutes from Gaylord and offers an indoor ceremony/reception area, a 1000 square foot deck accessible by four sets of French doors. Lovely indoor restrooms, décor Area/storage and caterer set up on the lower level. The indoor reception area is ideal for weddings of up to 175, but you can utilize the beautiful deck (which can be covered with a tent) overlooking the grounds and fountain courtyard for additional seating up to 225. There are also multiple outdoor areas to be used as a ceremony site; but you can hold your ceremony inside the barn if you wish. (This would require a “re-set” for the reception.) There's a "groom's barn" with its own bar area and pool table on the beautiful seven acre property as well.

A great vacation and wedding destination for an unforgettable country farm ceremony and reception, Jordan Valley Barn is a Northern Michigan rustic wedding barn and event venue that offers you an unforgettable country farm ceremony and reception in a beautiful indoor or outdoor setting. Jordan Valley Barn was built in 1887 and as a woodsy barn, it is majestic throughout. Chandeliers, string lighting, rustic lighting, and the romantic glow of specialty lights & lanterns create an unforgettable atmosphere for your perfect day. The barn has three distinct usable areas: The 2800 square foot reception area with its massive hand-hewn beams, a gorgeous crystal chandelier, strand lighting and beautiful white draperies. The bar and food service area with beautiful chandeliers and bistro lighting, adjacent bathrooms, two comfortable lounges, DJ stage that overlooks the reception area, and lovely furnishings. The amazing outdoor deck and patio area with bistro lighting, which is adjacent to the big barn entrance doors leading directly to our bar/lounges and restroom areas.

My husband and I had our summer wedding at JVB in 2015, it was the perfect day and ran so smoothly with the help of Sheri & Scott and many friends and family. Guests have told me the wedding was the most fun and beautiful they've been to. I feel blessed that I was able to have my dream day at this venue, and would recommend it to everyone!

Family Reunion Fabulous! - An Eventective User from Jensen Beach, FL

Our family had the whole property for the entire week. Worth every penny! Loved the hot tub! Beds were luxuriously comfortable...so glad the kitchen had a Keurig coffee stocked with Starbucks pods! We came up from FL for my brother's big wedding. Property owners/hosts Scott & Cheri were so friendly and answered all our questions. And even filled in as bartenders when our didn't show! The barn venue was so chic! Pics turned out gorgeous! DJ from Scheer Entertainment accommodated our every request. Day after the wedding we held a smaller luncheon to open gifts with my brother and his new bride. We used the dance floor to play games (there were a lot of little kids running around). So fun and so beautiful. Absolutely perfect! Jordan Valley Barn is perfect for your wedding, reception, and any other part you can think of!! Thank you, Scott and Cheri for being awesome!
