The Durham Center for Senior Life is located in downtown Durham. Opened in 2006, our $5.5 million center contains 35,180 sq. ft. of space including open areas for dining tables, large exercise rooms, a sit-in café, a theater and kitchen facilities and private garden. Our beautiful building is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Durham, and it is accessible to people across the greater Triangle area of North Carolina. Our updated facility is equipped with all the amenities needed to host an excellent event. We gladly host events including birthdays, baby showers, church services, weddings, conferences, brand launches, farmer’s markets, dance parties, musical performances, workshops, art exhibits, family reunions, exercise and yoga classes, movie screenings, makers markets, and more! The Durham Center for Senior Life features an expansive parking lot that is attached to our facility, and our building is fully accessible by wheelchair. Max event capacity varies based on the space being rented. During our business hours, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM the Durham Center for Senior Life is bustling with Senior activities and unavailable for event rentals.
