Terms and Conditions

General Rule Be respectful of the space and leave it how you found it. Catering *Beverages: please reference our preferred vendors list. License required. Please note that Alcoholic Beverages cannot be distributed at a ticketed event. *Food: please reference our preferred vendors list. *Outside food and/or catering is allowed with prior approval. Furniture Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. Insurance Additional Event Insurance is required and may be obtained through Eventhelper.com. Please list the host (Detroit Yoga Lab LLC) as additional insured. Proof of additional insurance must be provided at least one week before your confirmed event. Door Management High-traffic Events (ie: large groups or rentals with multiple people cycling in and out during the evening) will require someone from the Guest's team to help manage building access. Load In and Load Out Please coordinate with the Event Manager for any and all drop offs and pickups for DAY OF event. An additional fee may apply for any load-in and load-out outside of the date of the booking. Early Drop Offs and Late Pick Ups Early drop offs or late pick ups of equipment outside normal booking hours may require an additional fee per scheduled appointment. Guest Count If the guest count exceeds the number of people you booked the space for, you will be charged an additional $75 per person. Overtime Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. Serviceware and Glassware Serviceware and glassware are permitted in our space, however we do not have a kitchen sink and items MAY NOT be cleaned in our bathrooms. Cleaning A cleaning fee is added to each rental date and guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. A cleaning fee is included in all full-day rentals. An additional fee will apply for excessive trash removal at Host's discretion. Guests are encouraged to take all trash upon the end of booking to avoid this fee. Lost/ Stolen Items Detroit Yoga Lab is not responsible for any items that have been lost, stolen, or left behind during your rental. Venue Staff A venue staff member will be onsite during your booking time to answer questions and ensure all rules and regulations are followed. This staff member is not there to move furniture, assist with set up or tear down, or be tasked with event responsibilities. If you would like additional day-of event assistance, we can add a staff member to your team for $20/ hour. Restrictions *No smoking. *No pets. *No nails, screws, staples, tape or gummed backed materials may be used to attach or affix anything to the furniture, walls, or building. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card used to book the space. *No glitter or confetti of any kind is allowed on site. *No sparklers, Roman candles, or fire producing gags or effects. *No hand paints, stains, or other similar activity allowed. *There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. *Front door must be locked upon departure from the space; please use the lock box and key code provided. Please note that we strongly enforce all policies, and if any of the rules or regulations are broken, we will provide a 20-minute window for the action to be corrected. If the action is not corrected or continues to persist, we will shut down the event and you will be asked to leave and provided no refund.
