With 4 floors of flexible space and the ability to create a variety of socially distanced floorplans, you dream it and we will make it a reality. Our food & beverage and in-house A/V team are here to add an extra layer of creativity to your in-person or hybrid event. To top it off, our convention center facilities are tax-exempt! We are open at full capacity with social distancing measures in place. As always, our priority is the health and safety of everyone who enters our facility. We are taking every measure to ensure that we provide the best space for your event including staff temperature checks, extra sanitization of high touch point areas and required masks for all staff and guests. The Iowa Events Center is located in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The venue includes Veterans Auditorium, Wells Fargo Arena, Hy-Vee Hall and the Des Moines Convention Center. All of the buildings are conveniently located on the downtown skywalk system conneting all with the downtown hotels and restaurants. The Iowa Events Center can handle meetings as small as fifty people to concerts and conventions exceeding fifteen thousand people. Their sales and events staff are very accomodating and knowledgeable. The operations staff are excellent and very concerned with filling the client's every need. The Iowa Caucuses are held at the Iowa Events Center, as are many sports events, charity events, and international conferences. From Bon Jovi to Roller Derby, conventions to town meetings, the Iowa Events Center is ready to host any gathering with ease and convenience.
