The Downtown Marriott Hotel is a great hotel and conference location. It is a well-designed, spacious hotel that offers its guests many amenities. It is full of beautiful plants and fountains. The rooms include nearly everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the rooms come with a hair dryer and iron to help keep you looking your best. There is also a great view of the city from each room. Dry cleaning and laundry services are also available. The hotel also has a swimming pool and fitness center. The hotel includes a coffee shop, a gift shop, and a hair salon. The employees are also very friendly and willing to help. Their concierge desk is definitely an asset. I have also really liked the Downtown Des Moines Marriott Hotel for its conference or meeting capabilties. There are a couple very large conference centers and many smaller rooms that can be size adjusted. Elevators and escalators make movement within this large hotel easy. The only downside to this hotel is its price. It is a little expensive, but if you have the money, it is worth it. This hotel and conference center offer a lot for its guests and business associates. Please strongly consider making the Downtown Des Moines Marriott Hotel the location for your next business meeting, conference, or get together.

Vino209 is located in Historic Valley Junction in West Des Moines, Iowa. The stunning 1,700 square foot space opened in September 2017. Guests will enjoy the sophisticated, but historic relaxed atmosphere at Vino209, whether out for a night on the town, shopping in the district or stopping by after work with friends or a business meeting or special event. The Cafe features a cafe area that seats 50 guests at tables, 5 at the bar and a relaxing soft seating area. The moveable front doors will allow for the patrons to feel part of the fabric of the district and what is happening on the street. A new patio is being built that will seat approximately 20 guests in Spring 2019. In addition to the Cafe space we feature our "Tasting Room" which is perfect for rehearsal dinners, bridal parties, brunches, business meetings, private wine tastings and more. There is seating for up to 24. A combination of the Cafe and Tasting room can be used for some of the parties depending on the day. We do not charge for the space, however we do have minimum purchase requirements based on the date and time of your event.
