I hired YLo Epicure to cater a non-profit fundraising event in our home last month and was really impressed with them. I had heard good things about them, but had never been to an event catered by them, so I was a little nervous at first, but every contact I had with them left me feeling very confident. I worked mainly with Lisa, the owner, and it was a very smooth process. Planning for the party was a little difficult because the non-profit was in charge of the invites, so I wasn't sure how many people would attend or whether we would have anyone with food allergies or special dietary needs. YLo's team was really easy to work with while planning the event and was very helpful in creating a menu that worked very well. Their hors d'oeuvres menu is extensive and has a nice variety to select from. The mini crab cakes were a huge hit as were the Asian egg rolls. In addition to appetizers, we wanted to have wine tasting stations. They made a number of great suggestions on how to set up the tables to make sure that the party flowed well. During the party, their staff was very polished and professional. They greeted the guests at the door, served food and worked the wine stations. Everyone on the staff was really friendly and made the guests feel right at home. We had a lot of complements on the food and the non-profit was thrilled with everything. It was a great event. I would recommend their team to anyone looking for a caterer in the Denver area.
