I work for a charity in which I plan a lot of events looking to raise money to help finance our various causes and ventures. Most of our functions involve children and helping to raise money for transplants in children and research to make them more accessible and successful in our needy children. Finding a venue for such a tragic topic can be hard, however I found exactly what I needed in the Auditorium in the Children's Museum in Denver. By having the event in a children's museum I was able to remind my guests what we were all fighting for and the guides at the museum graciously gave all of my guests a tour of the museum for free. When my guests came into the auditorium they were listened to several presentations that were accentuated by good lighting and acoustics that helped them bring their points home. The auditorium is rather small, however so I would caution against very large groups, but for a small, close circle this was great. We also had some space outside of the auditorium to set up tables so that we could talk and our guests could choose to donate money. We had a great experience here, which was also highlighted by the fact that setting up everything was very convenient and easy. Our cause got a lot of support from the staff at the museum, which really made to inspire a great, positive atmosphere. I think this is a great venue for anyone looking to do something with children or to have a positive event.
