The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is Denver’s premier event location, offering a variety of unique spaces to make your event exceptional. The Museum can accommodate both intimate groups of 30 special guests to grander events of up to 3,500 guests. The Museum’s professional event consultants will assist you with planning from beginning to end. We invite you to have your special occasion at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, where the natural wonders of Colorado, Earth, and the universe surround you. The Leprino Family Atrium and the Anschutz Family Sky Terrace present a stunning panorama of City Park, Ferrell Lake, the Denver city skyline, and the Rocky Mountains. Giant architectural rings in the atrium—representing the circles, orbits, and cycles inherent in the natural world—add a dramatic touch to the setting. The rooftop Sky Terrace offers a lovely open-air experience for your guests. Both the atrium and terrace are memorable places to host your party, wedding reception, or any special event. The facility also features dramatic three-story atriums that connect the Museum’s original brick buildings with glass ceilings, providing both a classic and modern setting. The South Atrium can accommodate between 150 and 350 guests. You can enhance your event by adding world-class exhibitions and IMAX or Planetarium shows.

Great venue, excellent service, An Eventective User from Brighton, CO

We had a meeting for the Brighton Wrestling Club at the Museum of Nature and Science just a few weeks ago. It is not something we would typically do, but we thought we would make it fun and refreshing, and also get some new faces in the door there. It was held on a Saturday during regular admission times, so it wasn't as expensive as it otherwise may have been if it was an after-hours meeting. We hosted around 75 parents and kids. The staff was amazing. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, and almost invisible. We were provided with a catered lunch, and a large room which offered access to audio/visual equipment so we were able to play videos, as well as launch a powerpoint presentation on the different benefits of joining the Brighton Wrestling Club. We had amazing views of the Denver Skyline from the meeting room, and after lunch, we had access to the rest of the museum, as well as the Planetarium and IMAX theater. I would highly recommend this meeting venue to anybody who is interested. It is EXTREMELY expensive, though, to host a catered venue. I am not entirely sure of the whole pricing for it, but I do know it was several thousand dollars to host as many people as we did and have it catered. They can do larger or smaller meetings there, depending on your needs, and have the facilities to accommodate up to 3000 people at any given time.
