Old School Square is a nationally recognized historic preservation project, thanks to the determination of a local group of citizens who saved the 1913 Delray Beach Elementary and 1925 Delray Beach High School buildings from demolition. Old School Square Center for the Arts is a unique gathering place for corporate, private, media and community events as well as a wide variety of arts opportunities. Located just one mile from the ocean and walking distance to specialty shopping, fine dining, luxury and historic hotel accommodations. The Fieldhouse is 40'x70' room accommodating up to 225 at tables or 300 theater-style and is ideal for wedding receptions, corporate parties, group meetings, dances or special events.It is available as a rental facility and has been used for meetings, dramatic and musical productions, dance recitals, corporate seminars, television production and other presentations. A variety of outdoor events occur year-round on Old School Square's 5 1/2 acre site. The Ocean Breeze in the Crest Theatre building is equipped with projection screen, video projector and accommodates business meetings or small social gatherings of up to 60. Pavilion buildings surround an open, grassy area ideal for a variety of seating, tented events, or gated festivals.

Renovated from 1913 elementary and high school buildings, it is filled with charm. Our wedding reception was held at the venues the vintage gymnasium a few months back and it was a fair tail dream! Not only was the staff friendy, accommodating and personable but they went out of their way toe helpful! The day of celebration, the lawns were perfectly manicured and all the guests were in awe of the architecture, including the stone archways. Perfect location, just steps from the beach and famous Atlantic ave, it's perfection!
