My husband and I just got married at Meekers Venue and we can't recommend it enough! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It's an old historic building near downtown Delaware and the outside has it's old, rustic charm. They have completely remodeled the inside and it's modern and gorgeous. We just got our sneak peak gallery from our photographer and we love all our photos we took here. We received so many compliments on the venue from our guests. You won't need many decorations because the venue is truly breath taking on its own. The owners, Tess and John have plenty of rental décor to borrow that they can set up for you, which makes decorating a total breeze. The venue has everything you need all in the same place, so you guests won't need to travel to multiple locations. They have 2 main large rooms, we used one for our ceremony and dinner, and the other for our cocktail hour and reception. This was especially nice during COVID for our guests to be spaced out. The venue has a beautiful bridesmaids suite for all your ladies to get ready in, and a separate one for the bride. They also have a large area in the basement set up for the gentlemen to hang out and get ready in. One of the best parts about this venue is that you can rent it out for both Friday and Saturday. We were able to get everything set up and decorated on Friday, then have the rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner at the venue. It was so nice to have everything ready to go for our special day on Saturday. Additionally, you can pay the owners to pack up all your décor so you don't have to worry about this at the end of the night (I highly recommend this).
