The DeKalb Public Library has public space available to reserve for parties, meetings, banquets, auctions, weddings, receptions, etc. We have Wi-Fi, projectors, laptops, and a sound system that can be requested for a minimal fee. We have adult, teen, and youth study rooms available for free to DeKalb Public Library cardholders. Our Main Lobby and Great Hall can be reserved after library hours for large parties, receptions, and gatherings. Our Yusunas Meeting Room has a capacity of 150 and offers a stage, podium, and kitchenette. Our Bilder Family Meeting Room has a writable wall and Smart board and can be reserved for free by non-profit organizations. Our Story & Activity Room is also free to non-profits and has cushions, tables, and special light settings that can be used for children's events and story times.

The Garden Room is a beautiful location to host a wedding or event of any kind. Our space features over 3,300 square feet of space to accommodate events up to 200 guests. The space is open and inviting with updated décor, a large dance floor, white table linens are included along with risers for staging or a head table and any amount of display tables you may need. You will absolutely enjoy working with our Catering Manager and Banquet Manager to customize every detail of your event.
