Let Canvas and Cork host your private event in our beautiful art gallery. Suitable for a causal gathering, we offer an affordable alternative for your special occasion. Guests may bring their own food or employ a caterer. Our space is suitable for a stand up cocktail type event for up to 40 people. There are small seating areas scattered around the gallery but we are not set up for a “sit down” type event. You can plan your party with or without an art activity, just contact us and we'll send you an Art Party Menu with a variety of creative projects to pick from for your group. Guests may bring beer and wine but we are required to be closed to the public in that event. There is limited availability on Saturdays for private events as we do like to have our art gallery open to the public on weekends but we can usually accommodate parties earlier or later in the day. Just call us to discuss. Please note, we do have a private parking lot but space is limited on weekends as the lot is shared with a hotel. Street parking is available at all times. Our building is handicap accessible but our bathroom is not (no toilet rails). We are located in downtown Dahlonega, within easy walking distance of the Square and across the street from Hancock Park. We share the property with The Old Storehouse Inn. With 6 unique rooms on site you can stay with them and paint with us!
