About Coos History Museum

Located along the beautiful Coos Bay at the North end of the Waterfront Heritage District, the Coos History Museum offers a beautiful and lively place for meetings, community gatherings, and special occasions of all kinds. The exterior of our building evokes the industrial architecture of Coos Bay’s working waterfront of a century ago. From the tall windows of any of our rental rooms, you can regularly see tugboats at work, harbor seals, sea lions, and an array of migrating and stationary waterfowl. The Museum has three event venues with beautiful bay views that can be rented. Our in-door Sprague Gallery includes a warming kitchen, our Outdoor Plaza has enough room for tent events, and our indoor Conference Room is an intimate meeting setting. Our Rental Amenities Include: Beautiful Bay Views, Ample parking, a warming kitchen, WiFi, A/V equipment, projector/screen, Logitech video and audio conferencing system, professional indoor or outdoor sound system, 12 8’ x 3’ rectangular tables, 12 5’ round tables, chairs, and a rental liaison assigned to your booking to assist with your needs.
