Welcome to Conestoga Country Club ! The course is a vision of magnificence, located on 250 acres in the heart of the Grand River Watershed. Our facility is located only a short drive from many local communities; including Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph & Elora. This convenience of this location allows for a unique and intimate country setting for your special occasion or event.
The catering team here at Conestoga is experienced in all aspects of special event planning, from wedding ceremonies & receptions to off site catering affairs. Our Chefs have created a diverse menu with an emphasis on seasonally fresh ingredients, or you can allow them to design a unique menu for your event that will suit your individual tastes. All of this allows for the creation of a customized gathering designed to suit your every desire.
The facility has a choice of two rooms for your special day. The intimate and classic Club Room is located on the main floor and has a room capacity for weddings of up to 160 guests. The room is accented with natural wood detail including a wall-to-wall bar to serve all of your guests quite comfortably. The hall extends out into a stunning floor to ceiling glassed in solarium overlooking the course & The Grand River. There is also a generous patio area for your guests to enjoy an up close view of the natural beauty that the course has to offer.
The spacious Waterloo Room can accommodate events ranging in size from 50 to 450 guests. The room can be sub-divided to provide a more intimate space for smaller parties. The room has an outstanding amount of natural light and neutral décor to allow for any level of décor ranging from classically simplistic to modern and chic design. This space also an upper level solarium to provide a stunning view of the course & The Grand River.
We also offer two beautiful spaces available for on-site outdoor ceremonies here at Conestoga. The first location is our spacious two level patio that features The Grand River as a backdrop for your ceremony. Also available is a wonderful elevated natural green space overlooking the famous Conestoga Country Club bridges and one of our more picturesque golf holes on the course. This location is ideal for a late afternoon ceremony.
For wonderful wedding day photo opportunities we provide to you golf carts for the wedding party and several lovely vistas on course to utilize as a backdrop to aid capturing that perfect photo on your special day.
Escape for a day! A GolfNorth catered Business Function provides for your company’s valued employees a location to escape from the confines of the office. A GolfNorth Banquet facility is a perfect backdrop for business presentations, seminars, or social gatherings with colleagues. Packages available are designed to cater to your company’s various needs and budget requirements.
