About Atwood Museum
Step back to the Cape Cod of centuries past, into the home of Chatham Captain Atwood. His original 1756 home features antiques, and its perfect for a night at the museum! The Atwood Museum is home to the Chatham Historical Society, galleries, a gift shop, a film screening room, a colonial herbal garden, lawn, and Mural Barn. The barn features a podium, sound system, and drop down screen. The Mural Barn is perfect for small banquets, cocktail parties, reunions, graduation parties, bridal showers, and corporate events. The galleries can host musicians, a bar, and hors d'oeuvres table.
The museum's combination of old and new celebrates art and culture through the ages.
