We chose the Waukewan Golf Club located in Center Harbor, New Hampshire based on photos. The facility was also featured in a bridal magazine. We are from out of state, and could not make the trip to visit the facility prior to our wedding. I had a friend visit and take some photos for me, and I fell in love with the grounds. The outdoor space is beautiful. There are big, beautiful trees and it is beautifully landscaped. Since my (now) husband and I are from New England, we love New England architecture and "The Barn" exterior is perfect! The interior provides a dance floor, a bar, bathrooms and a gorgeous fireplace. I love that it has two levels also, it gave our reception a more open feel, where your guests can actually see you. We held both our ceremony and reception at the facility. Our ceremony was outside, near the gorgeous willow tree. We were provided with white chairs for our ceremony as well. The chairs provided for the indoor reception were brand new, as previously the chairs were padded metal ones so this was perfect timing for us. For the fee we were charged, we were provided with an on-site coordinator for the ceremony and the beginning events of our reception which is a nice touch. Not all facilities provide this benefit. All staff at the facility were great to work with and even helped coordinate needs with our DJ. If we were in need of event space in the future, in New Hampshire, we certainly would choose the Waukewan Golf Club again! We highly recommend the facility if you are looking for a nice, affordable wedding in New Hampshire which provides outdoor facilities as well as indoor facilities!
