Renaissance Festival for Weddings, An Eventective User from Arvada, CO

I would recommend the Colorado Renaissance Festival for weddings because it is so beautiful and magical, especially if you are into medieval history like I am. The entire experience was completely amazing. The ceremony was held in the Canterbury Chapel, which looked as though it came right out of the 16th century. The wedding party was dressed in genuine looking, medieval clothes. The bride was dressed as a princess, and the groom as a knight. The bridesmaids had lovely, colorful dresses. The groomsmen looked very dapper in their suits. All the guests had the option to change into medieval clothes as well, which were provided by the Renaissance Festival company. The priest led the ceremony in the Olde English language. It was all very authentic, as if we went back in time and experienced a real medieval wedding ceremony. It was truly amazing! After the ceremony, everyone went to the Royal Gardens for the reception, where they had 16th century music and authentic medieval food, including huge turkey legs, pasta salad, corn on the cob, and a beautiful castle-shaped wedding cake. We all ate and danced and had great fun, feeling like we were in medieval times. After the reception, the bride and groom were driven in a horse-drawn carriage, in the royal procession, and taken to a jousting competition, which the Renaissance Festival does every day, where they were honored by ""King Henry"" and ""Queen Anne"". When the jousting competition ended, the wedding party and all the guests went back to the Royal Garden, where doves were released, which marked the end of the wedding. It was an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!
