Recommendations

The most beautiful Hyatt I've ever seen. - An Eventective User from Dover, DE

The Hyatt Chesapeake bay in Cambridge MD is a beautiful facility for holding any event you can think of. From weddings to business meetings to birthdays, there is a place for all of these events. The rooms where they hold the events are beautifully decorated with all the bells and whistles. They are away from the main rooms in the hotel so you don't have to worry about making too much noise if your having a wild event. I attended a weeding there and the hotel allowed us to get a group rate on rooms so we could make a weekend out of it. If it's your first time there, the first place I would recommend going is the Blue Point seafood restaurant. The food there was incredible and the wait staff was very entertaining and knowledgeable of the area. The next place would be the pool area. Unlike some hotels, they still provide pool side service that won't cost you a arm and a leg. If golf is more your forte, the Hyatt Chesapeake bay has a golf course that looks like it could hold a PGA tournament. When you start the golf course you can have a drink at Eagles Nest bar and pack your cart with any beverages you can think of. After you finish, the 18th hole leads to another bar, Michener's Library. This bar is also great in the evenings when your winding down from dinner. If you ever get a chance to hold a event in the state of Maryland, I would strongly suggest the Hyatt.
