The Hangar Flight Museum offers you the flexibility to use your own caterer or choose one from the Museum's list of preferred caterers. You are also welcome to supply your own liquor providing AGLC rules and regulations are followed. Tables and chairs are included in the basic rental cost.
Looking for a different meeting room away from the office? The Memorial Room or the Lancaster Room can be rented for team building events, staff or club meetings.

People Often Ask
For all events hosted at The Hangar Flight Museum, the payment
schedule and deposit amounts are determined by the estimated fees
outlined in the Facility Rental Agreement.
The initial deposit is 50% of the contracted room rental rate and is
nonrefundable.
Payments can be made via Visa, MasterCard, cheque, debit, money order, or EFT/wire transfer. Cheques must be payable to The Aero-Space
Museum Association of Calgary.
All Termination rules apply if an event is rescheduled to an alternate
date. Remaining deposits can be used for the new date based on
availability, provided the rescheduled event falls within a comparable
time frame and attendance matches the original date.
The Hangar Flight Museum does not provide catering but works closely
with approved catering partners. An Alberta liquor license is required
for all events serving alcohol, which can be provided by any of the
preferred catering partners.
Depending on the event size, furniture and decor set-up can be
managed by The Hangar Flight Museum and/or the preferred caterer.
Note that we have strict décor restrictions due to the sensitive
artifacts housed in the museum. Restrictions include no open flames,
no glitter, no confetti, no fog/haze machines, etc. Please consult our
Event Manager for a full list of restrictions.
Yes, we have a large parking lot that can accommodate 100+ cars in
our main lot and an additional 20-30 cars in our secondary lot if
needed. Parking is free of charge.
Access to the venue is given no earlier than the start time stipulated
on the contract. Please factor in adequate time for set-up, sound
checks, catering, rehearsals, etc., when choosing your contracted start
and end time. Additional time is dependent on availability and subject
to additional fees.
Access depends on the timing of your booked event and the location
booked. Additional charges may be applied depending on the
circumstances and request. Consult our Event Manager for
more details. Guided tours of our collection can also be available.
Yes, all events where alcohol is being served require event security.
The additional charge is $35/hour with a minimum of 4 hours charged.
Two security guards are required for events with 100 or more guests.
