About Wave Hill

Often called one of “the greatest living works of art,” Wave Hill is a public garden and cultural center located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx on the former estate of financier and philanthropist George Perkins. With spectacular vistas of the Hudson River and Palisades, Wave Hill’s award-winning gardens are on the “must-see” list for avid gardeners from around the world, and its buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. One of the first private estates to be developed into a public garden, Wave Hill’s mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education, and the arts. Wave Hill's celebrated gardens and spectacular views of the Palisades provide the perfect setting for private events such as weddings, conferences, and social gatherings. ?Our event spaces are outfitted with modern lighting, flexible conference furniture systems, large smart TVs, integrated sound systems and the convenience of high-speed wi-fi access for your convenience. All rooms feature large windows that overlook the gardens. Contact us and our experienced staff will help ensure the success of your event.
