Perfect Wedding Reception, from Kent, Washington

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Courtyard Hall this past weekend, 9/12/15. It absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue is a great space, with a fabulous dance floor and bar in one room, tables in another, and an outside deck area. The flexibility with regard to bringing our own alcohol was great, it saved us a lot of money. The food was amazing. The menu choices were fabulous, our main dishes were prime rib and stuffed chicken breasts that were delcious. I am a foodie, so let me say this again...the food is amazing. Teresa was great to work with, she was attentive and answered my many questions, she made great suggestions and I really felt like she was there to do anything she could to ensure our event was a great success. Her staff took great care of us, they were polite and professional. Our guests truly had a wonderful time, and I could not be happier. Thank you Teresa and Courtyard Hall! Cindy and Keith.


Special place, An Eventective User from Renton, WA

Our high school Spring Formal, dinner and entertainment, was held at The Courtyard Hall last weekend. The venue was quaint and perfect for our event's vintage theme. Teresa Howard the manager and caterer for Celestial Catering was helpful and ever available. The food was wonderful, even with our small budget. We'd use this location and food service again.

Amazing venue for a small or not so small wedding. We were planning to use outside for ceremony, but due to Seattle weather, weren't able to..and wasn't it great to have larger hall as a back up and a great staff to set it all up. Teresa was great with planning everything and we had access to the hall when needed and the food was great. All our guests loved the venue and the quaint little village it is in just amazed everyone!

The Courtyard Hall is a great find, for many reasons: excellent rates, excellent service, unbelievable food-from-scratch cooked on premises (Sat & Sun), the ability to stock your own bar, huge dance floor, tons of tables/chair/linens included, lots of free parking...the list goes on. It's a venue you can feel confident in booking.

There he was paired with a skilled mentor and classically trained to work hand-in-hand with local food artisans under critical eyes to broaden his horizons in fine French cuisine. Chef Dusty also held a position as Executive Chef for The Inn at Millstone, a four star property in Cashiers, North Carolina. There he was able to create the first farm to table concept for the property using only local products with fresh herbs and vegetables from a garden he started. He later made a cross country move to Washington State and has had the opportunity to work with Bon Appetit Management Company, Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, and do consulting in Anacortes for the Majestic Inn and Spa. Now settled in beautiful Poulsbo, Chef Dusty is enjoying the salt life with his wife Claire and their daughter Hailie…when he is not experimenting with food in the kitchen!
