Perfect Place for an Outdoor Wedding, An Eventective User from Chicago, IL

Last summer my wife and I chose the white pines golf club to be wed at. I believe we got the best kept secret in the area, we looked at several outdoor venues but fell in love with this golf course. We didn't need a day planner or anything, they practicably provided it. The cost is what most people fret about but not here, they are very flexible in the different packages. We went with an open bar at the reception as it was a great value and tons of fun! The service was wonderful and the wait staff was focused but having fun with everyone. The food was well prepared and looked amazing. The taste was average but I don't feel like that took away from the day much. The setting was great surrounded by lush greens and trees. The sun was shinning and they took great photos for us. If I could complain about one thing it would be their schedule, its pretty packed in the summer so try to plan early. They also didn't make a few last minute changes that my wife asked for but they were very small so I understand. I don't regret one single thing about our wedding at white pines, even the price tag!

Alhambra Palace is a one of a kind, dynamic venue that transports all who enter into another world. Sweeping archways, marble accents, mosaic tile, crystal chandeliers and hand carved sculptures frame the multi-level, 24,000 square foot Moorish- like castle. Artifacts from Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco can be seen throughout. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a bar and lounge with intimate alcove seating. To the east is the restaurant which seats 100 people. The Babylon room is part modern, part historic with its curvaceous metal back chairs and stone carved wall hangings depicting scenes from the 13th century.
