If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate wedding ceremony that allows you to celebrate your love for one another in private, this is the package for you. You can utilize our gardens and pavilion for your ceremony (or our Great Room during inclement weather) and we will provide you with a rose bouquet and boutonniere. This is a one hour event and is not available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays unless booking 10 days or less in advance.
Celebrate any occasion at the Weller Haus Event Center near Cincinnati, Ohio! Our 1800 sq. foot Event Center is an intimate space that works well for any of your life events. You will have use of our gardens and patio areas when renting our unique indoor space -- creating a wonderful environment for a rehearsal dinner, baby or bridal shower, birthday party, holiday gathering, reunion or meeting. Included in our facility is a reception room for attendees to gather in one location, a kitchen/bar/serving area with fireplace, as well as an upstairs lounge with seating for relaxation and conversation. The rental includes the use of up to six, 5 ft. round tables and 50 chairs, four 6ft. banquet tables for placement of food, etc., and two high top bar tables with 8 stools. Table linens are not included, but we can assist you in getting them rented. Our Event Venue provides the ideal location for all of your bridesmaids to get pampered and dressed for the day. Our 1800 square foot venue offers a 900 sq. ft preparation room for hair, makeup and dressing, as well as a kitchen/bar area for stocking beverages and setting up food stations. The second floor lounge offers a quiet respite to take a moment to relax as well as provides great storage to get all of your bags out of the way. And, add our outdoor space where you can chill on the pavilion, listen to your playlist as you enjoy the soothing water fountain and the sounds of nature. Unique location for functions up to 50 attendees seated in one location, 64 if you don't mind guests seated throughout the space and up to 75-100 for "cocktail reception/open house" events. There is an additional surcharge of $300 for a guest count over 64. Our event center is the perfect location for receptions,rehearsal dinners, meetings, bridal showers, parties, family gatherings--any function where you don't want the "run of the mill" location. Your guests will be "wowed" by our gardens and property. Renting our Event Space will give you access to all three areas of the space---reception room, bar area (kitchen/buffet set up as well) and lounge area. Our Event Center is unique in that your guests will have access not only to a "three room" event center, but also access to the outside garden and patio areas. You are not confined to a room with little space for moving around or a space without windows. In addition, a huge benefit is that you may bring in your own food and alcohol and use a caterer of your choice. We can provide you with recommendations, but there is no obligation. You can choose our "no cleaning fee" option and we have free parking for up to 30 cars on the street. If you need a parking lot, we have access to a 24 space lot one block from our property for a nominal fee of $50.00. Everything about my experience with Wellerhaus was perfect and we will for sure this venue again. All the landscaping and event center were very favorable with our guests and the photographer. I 100% recommend this place and Leanne is a terrific host.
Leaanne was so easy to work with. She allowed us to visit the event center an extra time to plan decorations and placement. She was quick to respond to questions. The price is reasonable and the venue is beautiful. There are several areas to hang out in with different seating options. Such a great party place.
Like most couples getting married we spent a lot of money on our wedding and need to make sure we had a great rehearsal dinner "within reason"! We also wanted some place where we could dine inside (in case of bad weather) but also have access to an outdoor area to gather with friends and family---no small feat to find something that would offer enough privacy. Much searching and several recommendations brought us to Weller Haus. The set up was perfect--a separate building that could seat all 35 of us--that sat at the back of their gardens, deck and patio area. We had the dinner catered, buffet style which helped us keep our costs down--the food was great, service was great and the atmosphere was just what we needed -- to relax with our families before the big day. I would highly recommend this place for any event where you need both an indoor and outdoor setting. Way better than a restaurant with no atmosphere! It is beautiful and their gardens are amazing...I was actually wishing I had planned a wedding for 50 instead of 150 so I could get married there! Great location, parking lot available, excellent service.
My husband and I were looking for an outdoor wedding venue where we could hold our wedding and reception, have it be elegant yet casual and within our small $6000 budget. We were so lucky to find Weller Haus! Their gardens are absolutely beautiful (saved a ton on flowers by having it in the garden!) and the indoor space for the reception and hanging out is totally different from any place we looked at. There is a living room area where people can hang out next to the bar and there is an attached building with banquet tables/seating for up to 50 people. We had more than 50 so we used a separate room upstairs that seated another 15 people. While it sounds strange to separate your guests, it actually worked out quite well. The owner, Leanne, handled every detail for us with our input and helped save us a ton of money. We used all of their vendors and were happy with every detail. We had the perfect day, it was strees free and our wedding coordinator Jennifer helped make our day flow smoothly. I would have never thought I could have a beautiful wedding for 65 and still have come in under $6000.00. I was totally amazed. We would definitely recommend Weller Haus for any type of event--if they pulled this wedding off they can probably do any type of party or event! Thanks Leanne....we appreciated all your help!
We frequently have the need for meeting space in the Cincy area and our team was tired of using the conference room at the hotels where we stayed. Weller Haus is the PERFECT space for a small meeting or training session! They provide an awesome breakfast, beverage and snack service that is HOMEMADE and is not run of the mill hotel food. The Carriage Haus space is a two story building separate from the bed and breakfast with meeting space upstairs and a lounging area downstairs complete with a fireplace and kitchen area. We were extremely well taken care of, requested and received a tour of their lodging facilities and we actually booked our next "hotel stay" and meeting at Weller Haus. We can't wait to go back--our event is in the late spring and I am so looking forward to seeing their amazing gardens in bloom. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for something unique, intimate, friendly and amazingly inexpensive for meetings, retreats, training sessions.
