At Oak Lodge we are dedicated to creating storybook events that overflow with memories you will cherish for the rest of your lives. Upon entering the Oak Lodge doors, one feels the seasonal warmth and uniqueness of the facility. We have been in operation since 2001 and rest off the beaten path of Sherwood Forest. Sparkling chandeliers, rich varnished mahogany and antique brick give the Oak Lodge that “New Orleans Flair” combined with a warm Southern elegance. We have three different venues in which to host your event. To ensure an atmosphere of elegance, each event room is lavishly appointed in such finishes as copper, brick and oak. Each table is graced with a fresh flower centerpiece and the rooms are professionally decorated with lavish fabrics, upscale décor, and proper lighting.

Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center is the most stellar site to host a party in Baton Rouge. They feature several different packages to choose from to accommodate your needs. I selected the Unlimited Full Premium Bar for my party. All my guests were quite satisfied with the service of the bartenders and the friendliness of the staff overall. The Oak Lodge also features a wonderful ambiance set up by floral display with candlelight for every table's centerpiece. The decor was simply breathtaking for my big day. There is such an incredible attention to detail at this facility. They are true professionals who seemed just as excited about my day as I was! People are still raving that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to years after. And, I feel that way too! They were great.

Oak Lodge was phenomenal. We had the ceremony and the party at the venue. They are true professionals who took the time to make our wedding truly individual and wonderful. The food, was even better than the service (which is hard to beat to begin with). We had mini muffalattas that my husband is STILL raving about, and my family still talks about all of the food we had. I looked all over the city for a great place at a great deal, and I can assure you that for the money this is the BEST value you can get in town.

Breathtaking and beautiful, Blythewood is a greek revival mansion that is over 10,000 sq feet which stands on approx 10 acres. This mansion is the perfect setting for both your ceremony and reception, bridal shower, engagement party, corporate meetings, etc. We offer rental only packages as well as catered or both. Meaning, we can provide a partial menu and you may supplement the food with your "Uncle Joe's" famous jambalaya or etouffee that is a traditional item served at the reception." What we are saying is if you would like to bring in additional or all food items, you are allowed to, including alcohol, which most places do not allow. We are extremely flexible. Blythewood has bed & breakfast rooms if you need to house, family, friends, or even the wedding party. Our weekend weddings are our specialty.
