Thank God for HLAM Ministries! I waited till the last minute to find out the requirements to perform a Virginia Marriage Ceremony. After speaking to Rev. Byron, he told me what Ordination would be accepted and best for me, and I called the Court he recommended and I was lucky that they had a cancelation. They told me everything that I needed to bring and I was given a lifetime ministerial authorization. The Court and Rev. Byron went over the legal requirements, filling out the marriage license, and filing it. Rev. Byron provided ceremony customization material, processional and recessional details, and everything we could possibly need. Me and my couple are so happy. Rev. Byron explained to us that the Court where we live would not be able to help us at the last minute, and since I have been asked to do other Weddings now, going to them would have been useless since they only allow one Wedding. Rev. Byron saved the day for me since I had performed marriage ceremonies in Delaware, North Carolina, and Maryland without any problems. When my couple called Fairfax County Circuit Court to confirm Minister Requirements, they were told that I could not perform the ceremony because I was Ordained online. I searched online for a Solution and found HLAM Ministries and after speaking to Rev. Byron I learned that my Ordination was indeed issued by a Local Church but many Virginia Courts consider it an online Ordination since they advertise Ordinations. Rev. I am so glad I spoke to Rev. Byron. I first went to Fairfax County Circuit Court and told them I was asked to perform two marriage marriage ceremonies. They told me I could only do one Wedding with a one day civil appointment, and that no Virginia Circuit Court accepts online Ordination. I immediately called Rev. Byron and he made sure I had all the correct paperwork and sent me to a Virginia Circuit Court who accepted my Online Ordination and gave me a Lifetime Minister Authorization and after the Wedding another couple asked me to perform their ceremony.
