BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND ALCOHOL. The Dormitory is a historic event venue located in the downtown area of Auburn, Georgia. Meticulously restored in 2019 with the goal of maintaining its historic characteristics and charm. This unique building was constructed in 1888 and was formerly used as a women's dormitory for the Perry Rainey College. You can accommodate up to 150 guests at this venue. The converted dormitory features original hardwood floors, rustic-elegant chandeliers, exposed brick and vintage architectural hardware. It boasts an abundance of natural light, and an open floor plan. The 5000-square-foot space is perfect for both your banquet, ceremony and dance floor. This building sits on a quiet street with plenty of parking. In this building you can also rent a large room that can be used for Cocktail hour, rehearsal dinners, conferences, etc. There is also a kitchen on the first floor with warming trays, sink, refrigerator and cooking space.
