Beautiful Venue for a Dream Wedding, An Eventective User from Dallas, Texas

The Piedmont Room in lovely Atlanta, Georgia is by far one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The location is fantastic. It is located relatively close to the heart of Atlanta, yet still has that quiet, country feel that is ideal for many weddings. Not only is it close to accommodation for out of town guests, but it is located close to all of the vendors that the Piedmont staff prefer to work with, so it is a great way to get all of your wedding planning done in one area. The catering is phenomenal as well. There is a wide variety to choose from as well as buffet options. The dinners are all well priced and range from the average wedding dinner to immaculate creations. As a result, the Piedmont is a great venue for all types of weddings; whether they are more country and simple or glamorous and opulent. The lighting is another great feature of the Piedmont as well. The lighting was made for a romantic and intimate wedding, a great combination with the natural decor of the venue. Furthermore, there is the option of holding the wedding the immaculate ballroom itself or outside in the garden tent. The garden tent is a lovely area to enjoy an outdoor wedding with the added security of a ballroom in case the weather takes a turn for the worst. Finally, the rates for this venue overall are relatively inexpensive compared to other venues in the area. As a result the bride and groom can have their cake and eat it too with the Piedmont Room.

The Piedmont Room was by far the best place we could have our wedding. The park offered so many unique photo opportunities that you don't normally get. It seemed like the sun stayed out for ages and gave us all the light we needed. The ceremony was elegant and everything done on point. The photographer had plenty of room to do what he needed to do while capturing our special day. It had a great flow from beginning to end. The staff was wonderful and allowed us plenty of time to transition between the ceremony and the reception without disturbing much of the flow. They are extremely organized, hands down made most of the evening fly by! After pictures, we came inside to a brightly lit reception area that was absolutely gorgeous. It fit everyone well enough that everyone was comfortable. The ceiling honestly looked like it went on for days, big tall cathedral like that gave the room an excellent ambience. The tables were draped with gorgeous linen, and the chairs matched to boot! Everyone in my family was impressed. Everyone was well taken care of throughout the night. The food was delicious and everybody couldn't stop raving about how this was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding before. Normally, at least in my experience, it's just buffet style bland food. This was the exact opposite and well done. Everyone enjoyed! I'm honestly so glad at how well it went and highly recommend this venue. For the price we paid, and the experiences we will hold forever, this was perfect.

The Solarium is an historic event facility located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia, convenient to public transportation, I-285 and I-20. We can accommodate approximately 150 guests indoors for a buffet reception, and about 200 for a standing, cocktail-type reception. We also have outdoor space that may be utilized for a ceremony and reception. Rather than packages or in-house vendors, we offer our clients the opportunity to select all their own vendors, including catering, entertainment, and decor; clients may also bring in their own alcohol. Our clients or their designee are responsible for pre-event setup and decoration and for post-event equipment breakdown and facility cleanup. We offer free on-street and off-street parking, and the Solarium is fully accessible for our disabled guests. Our facility also includes a bridal suite and a prep kitchen (sink, countertop, refrigerator and microwave).
