Great Upstairs Space for Events, An Eventective User from Tucker, Georgia

Max Lagers American Grill & Brewery is a super fun, casual, nice place. It is located in one of the most fun parts of town. The space upstairs is very large and open. There is a full bar upstairs as well. This space would be the perfect place to hold a large dinner. You get all of the atmosphere, but none of the noise from the dining room downstairs. It is definitely more private. The food is more of a rustic style "man-food," yet there is something for everyone. Of course there is a huge list of in-house beers to try. I'm not that adventurous when it comes to beer, but I enjoyed one of their lighter beers. It was pretty delicious. The wait staff will let you sample any beer you'd like, so you don't have to just order and hope you'll like what you get. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is great. I would definitely recommend this venue for someone looking to have a mid to large size dinner party in a fun and casual location.

The Solarium is an historic event facility located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia, convenient to public transportation, I-285 and I-20. We can accommodate approximately 150 guests indoors for a buffet reception, and about 200 for a standing, cocktail-type reception. We also have outdoor space that may be utilized for a ceremony and reception. Rather than packages or in-house vendors, we offer our clients the opportunity to select all their own vendors, including catering, entertainment, and decor; clients may also bring in their own alcohol. Our clients or their designee are responsible for pre-event setup and decoration and for post-event equipment breakdown and facility cleanup.
