We have a home in Florianopolis-SC, Brazil and know an excellent Churrascaria (Brazilian grilled steak carved from a long skewer). Today we went to Fogo de Chao in Dunwoody, GA and had an absolutely fabulous experience. Our server Georgia did an excellent job and was attentive. We met Luciano the head churrasqueiro (who is from Rio Grande do Sul-a genuine Gaucho) and explained that we wanted to enjoy only the best qualities of meat (Picanha and Filet Mignon) and how we liked them cooked. Luciano was beyond incredible and served us superior quality food, extremely well prepared. Not only was the meat remarkable, he brought out grilled cheese, fried banana with sugar/cinnamon topping plus grill pineapple as a special treat. We found the weekend "Happy Hour" to be an added bonus with outstanding Alamos Malbec wine $6.00 for a proper wine pour. We had an excellent chat with Wanderson Oliveira-General Manager to tell him that we genuinely enjoyed our amazing and pleasant experience and assured him that we will return soon. Not alone...we plan to bring friends and family. We cannot say enough positive concerning our experience...we highly recommend that you visit this first-class establishment sooner than later!
