Western Colorado Botanical Gardens has grown to include many distinct outdoor gardens: Celebration Garden, Rose Garden, Mindy's Sensory Garden, Native Trail, Chinle Cactus Garden, Shoran-eu Garden, Western Heritage Garden, and the Children's Garden. A colorful fountain forms the focal point of Celebration Garden which is encircled by pathways that meander through gardens and lead to the Rose Garden. The rose arbor is a poplular wedding venue that looks out onto our front lawn that will hold up to approximatly 300 people. Mindy's Sensory Garden wraps around the greenhouses and is across the spacious meandering walkway from Native Trail and the Chinle Cactus Garden. The Chinle Cactus and Succulent Society beautifully maintain this superb cactus garden. You will find Bear Mountain hiding there where you can entertain your guests or exchange your vows. For a more intimate wedding go to the top of the "mountain top" and exchange your vows with a few of your closest friends. Another hidden gem that is quite intimate is the Tropical Rainforest where we have beautiful tropical plants surrounding you and your family as you say your vows! In Shoran-eu Garden visitors can quietly reflect nature's wonders while being mesmerized by koi, water turtles, and bullfrogs. Also coming in 2016, we will be adding another site in the Shoran-eu Garden an outdoor venue for approximatly 100 people. For a stroll through history a journey through the Western Heritage Garden is ready to be explored. The Library is always a wise choice during the winter months for any kind of meeting or wedding! We also would like to invite you out to see our children's castle where we hold birthday parties for the young and young at heart! Art selections throughout the garden add to the atmosphere of the landscape and along with the foliage add a beautiful backdrop for those perfect pictures no matter the occasion!
