Really Unique Place For Your Event, An Eventective User from franklin, tn 37067

It may not be Sonoma or Willamette, but this is a very fine winery that's located out in the country in the area of Arrington, TN, near I-840. The facility reminds you a lot of California: it's big, airy ... lots of high ceilings, wood and windows, but with a classic interior design and a lot of traditional touches. They make and sell wine right there on the premises, and you can take a tour or stop in for a tasting if you want. Foodwise, you can bring in your own caterer or work with theirs - they are really flexible and will arrange whatever you want (they don't have a full kitchen on the premises). There are large areas for big groups (indoors and out) but it's intimate enough for small gatherings. It's so far away from hotel conference rooms and a really nice spot for a day business retreat or meeting. The wine is terrific, by the way, and is very, very reasonably priced and is NOT sickeningly sweet like a lot of "interior" wines (NY, VA, anything not California). The Petite Syrah is especially nice and is not at all pricey. Kix Brooks (Brooks & Dunn country duo) is the owner and is around the place quite often. Nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. He'll stand there and yak about wine all day with you, if you want, as will the super-educated staff. Highly recommended for events where you want something interesting, different, upscale and first-rate.
