In its continuing role as a venue for all sorts of community activities, the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum's Lecture Hall is available to you for weddings, meetings, receptions, recitals, concerts, and lectures. The elegant Lecture Hall, decorated in the Classical Revival style of the 1840s, has a 15' ceiling, tall 9-over-9 windows, period style valences, a Greek motif frieze, and period custom made wall-to-wall Axminster carpeting.
Functions can be held at the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum during the day, when the museum is open, and after it has closed for the evening. Exhibition galleries and the museum shop can be opened for guests after hours. For more information about private functions at the Alexandria History Museum, contact us!
