Elegant Venue In Albuquerque, NM For Your Special Day — An Eventective User from Seattle, Washington
I would venture to say that if you are planning or even thinking about planning a wedding, one of the first decisions you will be making is the venue. The venue of your wedding is critical as it will set the tone of your entire event. This is especially true if, like us, you plan to hold your ceremony and reception at the same location. For us, it took eight or so visits to venues all over Albuquerque and surrounding areas to realize that there was no better place to hold our ceremony and reception then Hotel Andaluz. First, Andaluz is centrally located in downtown Albuquerque. Second, Andaluz is literally part of Albuquerque's history. The building dates back to 1939 when it first opened its doors. It is has recently gone through a renovation, which was carefully executed to maintain all of its original charm and character, but at the same time bring it into the 21st century. The beautiful wood work, the rich decor, the staff all make it an ideal location for a wedding. Hotel Andaluz has several ballrooms that may be used for your event. We went with the largest ballroom located on the second floor. It had gorgeous, tall windows and french doors and stylish light fixtures. In addition to being a visually stunning building, Hotel Andaluz also houses one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque - Restaurant Lucia. Lucia catered our wedding dinner and the food was beautifully presented and executed. Both my husband and I and all of our guests were very impressed with the quality of our meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Andaluz highly to couples looking for a wedding venue.
