If you really want good responses, you need to say how many you plan to have and what budget needs to stay within. Affordable means different things to different people. In addition, pare that guest list down as much as possible. Every person off the list will save you in more ways than just that plate of food.
My daughter was married this last September, so I understand your need to stay within a budget. The costs add up very quickly. If the venue you are looking at has paid parking, you may want to ask for free parking or a discounted rate. Nice perk for your guests.

My guest list is only 50. And my budget is no more that $8000. for the ceremony, reception, photo/video, food & beverage, some florals, upgraded linens, limo(if necessary). Everything! When I do find an affordable venue, then they have food and beverage minimuns as well as 22-23% gratuity fee, and service charges. Then when I get the proposal it ends up being way over $8000 for everything. I already have my dress but there are also incidentals that I have not factored in. Whick I'm ok with. And some wedding planners do not even want to work with you on that budget.
We have an all inclusive package that will keep you below your budger if you want to see what we have to offer, send us an email I will send you over our package.

With 50 people you should be able to find a good spot. Try looking at city websites under rentals. Winter park wedding chapel, Tanner hall in winter garden, go the the city of winter haven. They have a lot of venues to rent for cheap. Orlando is a key destination wedding location and June and July are peak season. Also try non traditional venues like Womens clubs, VFWs, or consider your house or a friends property. Get married by a notary my email is email@example.com I am having the same issue but I have 150 people so its the reception that is costing me. Email me and I can friend you on Facebook and invite you to view my closed group that my bridesmaids set up so that we could bounce ideas off of each other. One bride helping another, oh and I don't charge to notarize anything. Also ask for discounts, resident to the city, military, AAA, etc..
