While most people would spend a good portion of their savings on a wedding (which makes sense if you’re a middle class American), the rich and famous choose to spend the same portion of money on their weddings. This decision, in some cases, can be well over a million dollars. Here are ten of the most ridiculously expensive weddings and other events people pay for:

Nicole

Nicole lives in both Hawaii and San Francisco and is obsessed with Christian Dior. Because of her obsession, she and her family decided to throw a French themed super sweet sixteen. The super sweet sixteen was outfitted with dancers that performed as though they had been with Cirque Du Soleil and rapper Keak da Sneak.Nicole was also undeservingly awarded a brand new white BMW.And the cost of this super sweet sixteen? $200,000.00.This event was filmed by MTV’s hit show Super Sweet Sixteen

A quinceanera is a party usually celebrated by 15 year old Hispanic girls of their coming of age as a woman.These types of events are more than your average 15 year olds birthday party. But in the case of Janelle, it was much more than your average wedding.Janelle got to design her own dress, which she wore to a fully catered event with a very hefty price tag. The bill for this event, $125,000.00.

The estimated cost for this event was $1 million dollars. Undoubtedly the couple could have spent far more. It makes one wonder, in this instance, if the Donald could have possibly accounted for the extravagant wedding gifts in his pre-nup.

Who would have thought this former Genie in a bottle had such a huge pocketbook.

As some of the top producing artists in R&B and Hip Hop, a wedding like this seems almost appropriate, although it’s difficult to understand how 1/10 of a wedding expense could be spent on fish eggs.

One would think that this amount is exorbitant but when your father’s net worth is 50 Billion+, I guess this 60 million dollar wedding is normal.
