Ensure You Receive Referrals

Is potential business ending up in your junk folder? You may have to take some steps to be sure you are receiving your Eventective Referrals and other communications. Eventective Referrals are essentially free leads sent to you from Eventective users who chose to contact your business directly. These Referrals can get lost in your inbox along with other leads, or may even be accidentally sent to your spam folder.

Check your Spam Folder regularly for messages sent there by mistake. When you find messages in spam that are not spam, mark them as Not Spam to receive similar messages in your Inbox in the future.

To ensure you are receiving your free Referrals and other communications, please add the following Eventective addresses to your Safe Sender List.

Eventective@noreply.eventective.com — Eventective Referrals (free leads) and Lead purchase opportunities (only if you are signed up for PPL) come from this address.

Eventective@noreply2.eventective.com — Automated account messages, password notifications, and internal client communications.

esales@sales.eventective.com — Marketing mailers such as the Eventective Focus Newsletter, Advertising Summary Reports, Referral Summary and Monthly Promotions come from this address.

In most email programs, adding these addresses to your Contacts/Address Book identifies them as safe senders. Try clicking or right-clicking on the from-address in any message to add to your Address Book.

Some programs offer a separate Safe Sender list as well. Here’s how to access your Safe Sender List or add Contacts for the top email providers.

 

Yahoo

  1. Sign into your Yahoo! email account.
  2. Click the settings icon (cog wheel), on the top right-hand side of the screen, and choose Mail Options.
  3. On the Options page select Filters on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Click the +Add button to create a new filter, enter Safe Senders as the Filter Name, for Sender select Ends with from the dropdown and add eventective.com in the input box.
  5. Click the Save button to save your filter

 

Gmail

  1. Sign into your Gmail email account.
  2. Click the settings icon (cog wheel), on the top right-hand side of the screen, and choose Settings.
  3. On the Settings page, choose the Filters tab and click Create a new filter.

  1. Input eventective.com in the From box and click Create filter with this search.

  1. Select Never send it to Spam and click the Create Filter button.

 

AOL

  1. Sign into your AOL email account.
  2. Check your Spam folder to see if any Eventective messages are landing there.  If so, select any that apply and choose the Not Spam button in the menu bar at the top.
  3. Click on Contacts in the left-hand column, and choose New List from the menu bar at the top.
  4. Create a new Contact List with Eventective as the name and the Eventective emails as the contacts.  Separate each address with a semi-colon. (Eventective@noreply.eventective.com; Eventective@noreply2.eventective.com; esales@sales.eventective.com)
  5. Click the Add List button to save.

 

Outlook/Hotmail Accounts

  1. Login to Outlook.
  2. Click on the settings icon (cog wheel) at the top right, choose More mail settings from the menu to open the inbox options page.
  3. In the second column, under Preventing Junk email, click the Safe and blocked senders link.
  4. Click Safe Senders and add the Eventective emails to your safe senders list (Eventective@noreply.eventective.com; Eventective@noreply2.eventective.com; esales@sales.eventective.com).

 

Comcast/Xfinity

  1.  Log into your Comcast account, and click on the users and settings tab.
  2.  Scroll down to email settings, if the Spam Filter is on, click on Edit, and make sure your you check Keep Local Copy in your Spam Folder, this feature allows you to review your Spam Folder and determine if messages were sent there by mistake.
  3.  Save your settings and then make sure you add the Eventective email addresses (Eventective@noreply.eventective.com; Eventective@noreply2.eventective.com; esales@sales.eventective.com) to your address book.

There are two ways to add contacts to your Universal Address Book.

From the Email tab

  1.  Click on New, and select New Contact from the drop-down menu.
  2.  Enter the contact’s name. All other fields are optional.
  3.  Click Save to create the contact.

From the Address Book tab

  1.  Click + NEW CONTACT button.
  2.  Enter the contact’s name. All other fields are optional.
  3.  Click Save to create the contact.
