Jazz is a word which evokes any number of meanings to people: the smooth sounds of Paul Desmond, the sugar and spice of Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong, or the hard bop of Charlie Parker. There are the salsa rhythms of Tito Puente and the frenetic harmonies of Charles Mingus or Thelonius Monk. It may be time to relax with the wispy ballad "My One and Only Love", liven up the evening with the Latin feel of "Blue Bossa" or really get things swinging with a "Straight No Chaser".
