About Living and Learning Center at Virginia Union University

Our beautiful facility has been in operation for almost 5 years and is available for hosting events. Our facility includes a large banquet/ballroom that can accommodate many different types of events. With the two air walls opened, the center is just under 6,000 square feet and also two smaller meeting rooms with just over 600 square feet of space each. We have hosted over 40 weddings in the last 5 years and we are now cultivating the space for business meetings and other week-day events.

Perfect event space for wedding! - An Eventective User

This place was honestly was a blessing to find. Robert, the event space coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with and definitely made our experience great, as he provided us with many resources for decorations, linens, etc. He replies quickly, and is an excellent problem-solver. We had around 200 guests for our wedding and had more than enough space. I certainly recommend this place!

Highly recommend Living and Learning Center at Virginia Union University. The sales and marketing event manager, Curtis, for the facility was excellent to work with as we met with him numerous times in planning our wedding reception. If he couldn't provide what we needed he was able to refer us to someone or a business that could. The catering service, Thompson Hospitality, was also excellent in providing us with a wealth of experience in planning our menu, place setting and how much beverage to provide for number of guests. We receive nothing but outstanding comments on the facility, food and service at our reception.
