Sharon began her musical career at the age of nine in St Louis, attending formal private piano lessons until she was thirteen. At fourteen, she moved to Laredo, Texas and began her career as a private Piano instructor. Sharon also performed for several events in Laredo and was a regular pianist for the local theater. She also was the keyboard player for a touring band in the early 80's before attending college in Austin. The band was a regular part of the Coastal bend music scene. At age 20, she began college at UT Austin where she earned a double major in Music and Pharmacy.She has performed in McAllen and Corpus Christi at several fundraisers as well as local hotels and restaurants.She moved to Austin and quickly became known in the progressive Austin music scene during the late 80's and 90's.Sharon performed nightly at the wyndam(Omni) Lobby bar for several years while also attending UT of Texas.. Other venues include Barton Creek Country Club, Green Pasteur’s Restaurant, Driskill,Marriott and Four Seasons Hotel, as well as private social events. Sharon loves to perform and is extremely versatile leaving the audience always wanting more!,. Her repertoire is extensive, containing many different musical genres. These include Rag, Classical, Pop, .Ambient, Honky Tonk, Boogie Woogie, R and B, Adult Contemporary, Country, Jazz, Fusion, Freestyle Jazz, Rock.Soul,Top 40, Oldies Honky Tonk, to name a few! .Her influences include Jely Roll Morton, Liberache, Elton John, Art Tatum, Lux Lewis,Marcia Ball to name a few. She is member of several musician organizations throughout the United States. She presently resides in San Antonio, Texas where she performs. She is also the Director of North Central Piano Academy, and teaches private piano lessons for all ages and levels.a She is well known for her songwriting abilities and has had several of her works published.

As mentioned above, I play for my audiences and their enjoyment so I try to play many different styles form all eras to please everyone. I encourage audience participation and honor special requests. I always am asked to perform beyond the agreed timeframe and am happy to do so, if possible.I have been very well recieved and have recieved many great reviews for past clients in several different types of venues. I also can " audition" for you at my home before you make a decision at no charge!! Please call me for an appointment!!.
